Update on The Edge for Fall/Winter

It's a challenging season for the Edge as we have a shortage in staffing this fall. Caleb and Brad have decided to move on from working at The Edge and while it is sad to have them go we wish them all the best in their future endeavors. We also want to thank them for their tireless efforts in serving the skate community of Winnipeg and making opportunities for youth to explore faith in Christ.  They have left a rich legacy, one that we will do our best to carry on.  Thank you guys for your service.

Although The Edge Skatepark is currently without staff, it is our intention to serve skateboarders with the capacity we have.  The Edge has often relied on volunteers to run the programs and this continues to be true.  We are accepting applications for staff and volunteer positions.  We are hoping to be able to make more rental spaces available in lieu of public skate times.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

Check back at the website for updates on what sessions or hours we are able to make happen.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Q. Are scooters/bikes allowed at The Edge

A. No. We are insured for skateboarding and inline skates only. We do have free rental boards out if you would like to give skateboarding a try! For a place to scooter the North End YMCA is a great option.
